Personality: Severe, cutting, she doesn't care about people's feelings, tells the truth the way it is.
Harsh, demanding but never unfair.
Surprisingly easy to talk to as long as it doesn't include whining and always defends her men and students in front of strangers.
Firmly believes that hard work brings its own reward.
Dislikes small talk and gossip and generally doesn't acquaint with other women since she prefers the company of men.
Many speculate that she is the lover of Kjarn, the ruler of the neighbouring Skadi, and the mother of his son. Both elude the question whenever asked. Some also assert she is a lesbian, something she doesn't take kindly to, and most of those who accused her of this to her face never did again.
Family: Unknown parents (deceased).
Story: Senami doesn't like talking about her past. What is known about her is that her mother was a Femisoce and her father was one of their "husbands". She was raised as a Femisoce herself in one of their communities of Shatterland and trained from a very young age how to master a sword, how to use her body in combat situations like all young Femisoces and control her emotional fluxes so as not to let them get in the way in emergency situations. At the age of 12, she was left for dead after a failed raid on Eluse during the Chaos Wars. Nused back to health by Elusians, she decided to take the chance to escape the horrible life that Femisoces usually live and she volunteered for Eluse's army. The young Senami wanted in fact to get rid of her uneasiness around men, since Femisoces teach their "daughters" to view men as enemies. Ironically she now prefers their company to that of women. She was quickly spotted for her aggressive style and her unusual endurance. She was also known for her upstandingness and her loyalty. Despite this, she still had a hard time getting respect from men as a military figure and an even harder time to be respected as a leader. Which she achieved after several years of service as a lieutenant and being promoted as the queen's army colonel. On her spare time, she often gives private lessons to women who desire to learn combat and swordsmanship.
During a campaign in the neighbouring Skadi, she met its ruler, the King Kjars. For some reason, she decided to stay in Skadi after the campaign was over. It is said that she and Kjars have become lovers and that the current heir to the Skadish throne is her son. Despite her constant eluding of the subject, this is very likely since said heir, Prince Ensen, is a mulatto and Skadish people are usually blond or white-haired with blue or red eyes...
She has a deep and genuine respect for the queen [link] who is one of the rare women she appreciates. She also shares a mutual respect with General Zelad [link] who she admires. She is the direct superior to the queen's guard and Derva [link] , who was trained under her, calls her "mistress". She had several run-ins with Jaoz's [link] minions and has already fought the 5 Whites.
Weapons: A double-bladed sword. Skilled swordswoman and brawler.
Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, survivability and reaction time. Uses a double-bladed sword. Is able to produce a force field that protects her from most of conventional injuries and can also completely absorb the life force of anyone touching it or absorbed by it. Consequently, she can’t use it to protect others. Using it against energy attacks is dangerous to her because the overload of energy could easily stun her hence she only uses it against minor magical attacks or when she has no other choice.
Weaknesses and annoying traits: Lady Senami is very sensitive about her past as a Femisoce and dislikes having it mentioned. She hates Femisoces with a passion, just as much as she contempts Soces.
Due to the nature of her power, she is pretty vulnerable against mystical and psychic attacks, despite having grown stronger and stronger. Strangely, her power seems to be mutating and it now seems that she can control whose life her force field drains but this ability is somewhat new so she does not master it yet.
The reason why she denies any involvement with king Kjars is certainly due to the fact that she will need to leave Eluse for Skadi if their relationship was proven to exist. Not to mention the diplomatic SNAFU it could cause.

I tried to make Derva's mistress a balanced character and a reasonable authority figure. Despite being a former Femisoce and claiming to hate them, she still has some definite Femisoce-ness about her... I purposely made Lady Senami solid so as to give some variety to the body types.
